We knew it was coming, we just didn't know how long it would take. Seth Meyers kicked things off with a simple, yet funny, "Good evening ladies and remaining gentlemen," said Meyers.

Meyers threw a couple of warm up pitches before bringing the heat at around the third minute of his opening monologue during the the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

I think it’s time to address the elephant not in the room. Harvey Weinstein isn’t here tonight because, well, I’ve heard rumors that he’s crazy and difficult to work with. Don’t worry he’ll be back in 20 years when he becomes the first person to be booed during the in memoriam.

The crow seemed a bit tentative during the Weinstein jokes as well as during Meyers' mention of Kevin Spacey, causing him to sarcastically question the crowd, "Was that too mean to Kevin Spacey?"
